Important information to help you plan for a hike
- If the trip is traditional, North to South (Mattole to Blacksand's Beach) we will always meet the day prior to our permit entry date. This is due to us having to get an early start out on the trail. The dates on our calendar already account for the meeting day.
- For reverse trips from South to North (Blacksand's to Mattole) we meet the same day as permit entry. We have no tide restrictions and have a flexible time to start.
- You will always be off the trail on the 4th day between 10 AM and Noon.
