Backpack Rental

All shuttles need a minimum of 3 people booked to guarantee the trip. Hikers booking for groups less than 3 passengers need to call our office or email us to book in order to insure you put you on a shuttle that has already met the minimum requirement.

You must have a group permit from the BLM to legally hike the trail. Be sure to get your permit before booking with us. No refunds are given for failure to book your permit. Get yours here.

If your shuttle does not meet the minimum rider requirement, you can pay the minimum shuttle fee to guarantee your trip.

You can switch shuttles up to 3 days before your trip if you want to ride with friends.

If a shuttle is fully booked or you are booking less than 24 hours in advance, send us an email or call us to see if we can arrange an extra shuttle. We can also arrange private shuttles for large groups.

Free tide books are available from your driver, and maps are also available for $10.00 each.

If you’re happy with your service, tips for your driver are always appreciated.

Don’t Forget To Book Your Permit!

Remember, whether it’s one night or one week, please book your group permit before you can book your shuttle/tour dates. No refunds are given for failure to book your BLM permit.

The 15-Minute Head Start

Please make sure you are packed up and ready to go 15 minutes before shuttle departure so we can be sure to start on time.

Cancellation Policy

  • There is a $50 non-refundable deposit once you book your trip. You have have one week prior to your trip to get the remaining amount paid back.
  • 100% refund if inclement weather prevents travel to or on the trail*

Cancelling within the week will add a $25 fee per seat. If you cancel within 48 hours of your trip no refund will be given.

Pup Policy

If you bring your dog, please note that we charge a minimum cleaning fee of $60. We love dogs, but we have to clean very carefully afterwards to accommodate passengers who are allergic to our four-legged friends.

*Don’t wait until your arrival date to check weather conditions! If you check a few days before your trip, you’ll be able to see if an impassable storm or other conditions stand prevent your trip. Of course, please contact us with any questions.

We will be resuming shuttle services for the Lost Coast Trail on Friday, June 26th 2020.  If you are interested in making a reservation for a shuttle please contact us at or call us at 707-986-9895 for further information. We will be assisting in the reservation process until further notice. Online reservations are still suspended.

Covid-19 Updates (Great News)

As of June 15th, our shuttle service will go back to operating at full capacity. Safety precautions will still be taken to insure the well being of our passengers. If you do not feel comfortable sharing a shuttle with other groups, please contact us about booking a private shuttle. We appreciate your understanding and support as we transition back to normal operations.
